10. The Reserve Bank allowed Indians to carry high value denomination notes while travelling to Nepal and Bhutan with a cap of Rs. 25,000 on the total amount. Indian citizens can now travel to the neighbouring countries with Rs. 500 and Rs. 1,000 denomination notes as well. Earlier, they were allowed to carry notes of only up to Rs. 100 denomination.
